Bahasa Melayu KSSR +中文 Cerdik helps children learn Malay faster and more confidently through playful, story-based lessons aligned with Malaysia’s primary curriculum. Interactive quizzes, multimedia dictionaries, and visual learning maps engage young minds, while Chinese translations support comprehension. Short audio clips with subtitles and reward badges boost motivation and pronunciation. Adaptive difficulty ensures each child progresses at their own pace, making learning enjoyable, effective, and tailored to every learner.

Kids Advertising Practices & Policies

1) Overview

Cerdik: Bahasa Melayu KSSR + 中文 is a free educational app for children (approx. ages 6–12). To help keep the app free, we show third-party contextual ads via Google AdMob. We do not use behavioral or interest-based advertising.

Ad Partners & Policies
We work with the following advertising partner(s) for contextual, kids-safe ads:

Concerning the Kids policy, in https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/answer/9283445 is written that “all ad creatives to be rendered are reviewed and rated before being delivered to users” if a network is used that is part of ‘Families Ads Program’. Admob is part of that program.

We require that any ad inventory we use be appropriate for children and subject to human review of creatives for age appropriateness. In addition to our own human review (see Section 5), we restrict ad sources to kids-compliant supply and block any advertiser or creative that violates these standards.

2) Contextual-Only Ads (No Tracking/Personalization)

  • Ads are contextual and served without tracking or personalization.
  • We do not use identifiers for ad tracking, ad personalization, or remarketing.
  • We do not pass keywords or content URLs in ad requests.

3) Kids-Safe SDK Configuration (runtime)

We configure the Google Mobile Ads SDK to request kid-safe, contextual ads only:

We do not display Apple’s tracking permission prompt (ATT) in the kids experience.

4) Console Controls (account-level)

In our AdMob account we enforce:

  • Maximum ad content rating = G.
  • Sensitive categories blocked (e.g., Dating; Gambling; Drugs & Supplements; Sexual & Reproductive Health; Significant Skin Exposure; Social Casino; Cosmetic Procedures; Astrology/Esoteric, etc.).
  • We do not use mediation at this time; all ads are served via Google AdMob. If we add mediation in the future, we will restrict to kids-compliant networks only and update this page.

5) Human Review of Ad Creatives

In addition to automated filters, our team performs ongoing human review of creatives using AdMob’s Ad Review Center:

  • Pre-display filtering: We only allow sources configured for child-appropriate inventory (G-rated, sensitive categories blocked).
  • Cadence: at least weekly, and daily during releases or promotional periods.
  • Criteria: child-appropriate imagery and language; no violence, fear, adult themes, dating, gambling, alcohol/tobacco, user-generated-content platforms, or other sensitive topics.
  • Enforcement: violating creatives/advertisers are blocked immediately and placed on a deny list; repeat offenders remain blocked.

6) Placement & Frequency

  • Ads appear only at natural breaks in the experience (never on first launch or during core learning interactions).
  • Close controls are clear and accessible; no deceptive UI.
  • We avoid pressure, rewards, or gates that could encourage excessive ad viewing by children.

7) Data Practices

  • We do not collect or share personal data for advertising purposes.
  • We do not include third-party analytics in the kids experience.

8) Monitoring & Response

  • We re-audit AdMob blocking controls at least quarterly.
  • If an inappropriate ad slips through, we block it immediately (creative and advertiser) and review our filters.
  • If you see an inappropriate ad, please send:
    • A screenshot of the ad, 2) the approximate time and timezone, and 3) the screen where it appeared.

9) Parental Gates

Before any external link or purchase flow, our app presents a parental gate to ensure an adult approves the action.

Our app does not require users to log in for basic usage. However, should you opt to use email, Google, or Apple login feature, we may store publicly available information associated with your login. We do not store any personal data unless provided by you during the login process.

If you choose to create an account in our app, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your device, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.
